My name is Carlos Cruz. I am an indie developer and founder of Kivicom. For over ten years, I worked as a 3D Character Artist in gaming, VFX, and collectible statues. I worked for IPs like Castlevania, Naruto, Dragon Ball, and Final Fantasy, and I have experience as a 3D art lead for the mobile game Quantum Siege.


I embarked on the game development journey as I love making games. I have always been passionate about game design, storytelling, and world creation, so for the past two years, I have been heavily focusing on honing my skills as a programmer to make my dream come true.


I strongly advocate for the integrity of a cohesive vision in game development. The essence of games and meaningful player experience lies not in the isolated aspects of graphics or visual appeal but in their capacity to contribute to a unified vision.


Each element of a game, be it graphics, visual game design, or UI, should serve the game, therefore, the player.


In an oversaturated market of games where people's attention is everywhere, I want to create games worth investing time in and leave a memorable experience.
